noncommercial arrangement 22.1

a friend/neighbor asked if i would be game for an art trade after seeing a second “cube” in the neighborhood that looked a lot like the purple one on our front porch.  i really like trading art, so i told her i was game!  i made her this piece and she made me an incredible afghan blanket.  all kinds of little doo dads in this piece.  a kid’s “S” block (my neighbor’s name starts with “S” so i thought it was appropriate), a slice of log, a cholula bottle cap, a joinery biscuit, slices from an old jenny lind bed frame, and plenty of pine, oak, poplar, maple and the other usual suspects.  i’ve included a couple of close-up and “in process” pictures.
