after the 2020 elections, i found a bunch of discarded political signs.  i took them home and disassembled them.  there’s a lot of potential for the steel rods that are used in many of those signs.  anyways, this was a sculpture i made using a piece of that steel rod.  other materials include white cedar (old fencing) and eastern hemlock.  take a moment to admire the fish sculpture in the first picture.  my parents had a little company called Fish Sticks in the 1990s and this was one of their prototypes.
