three fold 19.0p (a, b, c)
i made these three paintings as a part of an art trade with an incredibly talented friend in early 2019 (it was cold in the shop). the compositions in the paintings are a part of a continuing “fold” series. in this case, shapes were applied with spray paint onto 3/4″ plywood.
a few small notes on process:

some early draft pencil and marker sketches. i wanted to use a wide range of colors

shop assistant helping lay out the sketches onto plywood

the pieces were made in early spring — note the space heater.
